Bauhaus Initiative
Each year Savannah College of Art and Design hosts a Start-Up. A week-long challenge where four teams are grouped together and set out to build a start-up company based on that year's theme. At the end of the week. the group is expected to have a brand, a 30sec commercial, a mockup of our product, 4 min pitch, and most importantly, a thought-out business model. The team then pitched their business in a "Shark Tankesque" presentation to mentors and industry professionals from many notable companies. This year's theme was "So, where do we go from here?", prompting teams to think of businesses that will impact the future. That's where my team came up with the following:
This was a very hands-on project where each of us needed to contribute to the project for us to have a fully fleshed-out result by the end of the week. Together with me, Kushal Nataraja Savitha, Lion Jefferson, Chandrahas Tanguturi, and Rashi Gupta (not pictured), Created a business that taught design to kids ages 8-18 using interactive lessons, creative communities, and one-one mentorships to help the next generation of artists.
Because parts of our team were in different time zones, the farthest being 13hrs, it was hard for us to meet altogether throughout the week. As a result, we delegated parts to certain people. Kushal and Lion were in charge of our pitch,  Chandrahas was in charge of our business model, Rashi and I were in charge of our presentation, and I was in charge of our branding image and mock-ups.

The entire experience was very fun and not only did I learn a lot from the feedback from the people we pitched to but I also met 4 fantastic people who I most likely never would have known otherwise
